Enrollment in a Course is confirmed upon receipt of the full course fee or the first installment of a payment plan, if applicable. The Academy reserves the right to refuse enrollment to any applicant.
Course fees are due as specified at the time of enrollment. The Academy accepts payments via credit card, debit card, and other methods as indicated on the website. Late payments may incur a penalty fee. Failure to pay fees may result in the student being withdrawn from the Course.
If a payment plan is offered, it will be outlined clearly during the enrollment process. Students are responsible for adhering to the payment schedule. Late payments may result in suspension of access to course materials until the payment is made.
Students may cancel their enrollment in a Course subject to the following conditions:
The Academy reserves the right to cancel a Course due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, students will receive a full refund of all fees paid.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
All course materials, including but not limited to lectures, scripts, handouts, and videos, are the intellectual property of Director's Craft Academy and are protected by copyright law. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without the express written consent of the Academy.
Students retain ownership of their original work created during the Course. However, by enrolling in the Course, students grant the Academy a non-exclusive license to use their work for promotional purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media, and marketing materials.
Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times. The Academy has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or any other form of inappropriate behavior. Violation of this code of conduct may result in immediate dismissal from the Course without a refund.
The Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or enrollment in our courses. The Academy's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by the student.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
The Academy reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on the website and will become effective immediately upon posting. It is the student's responsibility to review these terms and conditions periodically.
